I just put ethanol into google news search and this came up. Strange timing to say the least.

Brazilian Ethanol Making Waves - Expert warns of U.S. troubles
An expert at the National Ethanol Conference in Miami Beach warned the U.S. would be wise to seek import protectionist policies after the recent announcement that Brazilian exports of ethanol are predicted to grow to 4.4 billion liters by the year 2013. Brazil exports about 650 million liters of ethanol, but a leading Brazilian ethanol market analyst said that number could significantly grow during the next 10 years.

its being used instead of MTBE in gasoline, we need alot of it.

This will probably send the price of gas up a few more pennies. Traders don't like to hear about exploding tankers.
