February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Hmmmmm, you said the tests were inconclusive that were done. Did the vet even do a FLV test on Harley? That's the first thing my vet does if one of my babies has something strange going on. A swab of saliva from the mouth and it only takes 10 minutes to get the results back. Much easier than doing all the other tests, like bone marrow which you mentioned. It gives them a starting point in finding out what could be wrong.

I'd have the other cats tested right away. As long as they're still negative, get those vaccinations and they should be ok. When I went through the nightmare with the 15 kitties, 2 were negative and managed to live through everything because they had the shots. Don't wait on those tests, for the other cats.......and for Harley. It doesn't sound like the test was done on her or they'd know if FLV was the problem.

I hope it's not FLV, that it's something that can be treated or that she can eventually outgrow. There's not much worse than the helpless feeling you get when dealing with that horrible disease. We can't explain anything to the poor lil critters. Wouldn't it be great to be like Dr. Doolittle? LOL!

I'll keep praying for Harley and your other kitties that things will turn out well. You know how much I adore cats, having 39 of the fuzzy "kids" running around here. :-)

Re- guests with gastrointestinal symptoms- this sounds very similar to what was experienced by the Philly hotel guests. (When 69 people sought emergency medical treatment from surrounding hospitals.)

A few days ago I was reading the "Bible Code". I have no idea whether it's a hoax or not, but the author wrote that the code predicted: 1.) NYC being attacked by guided nuclear missiles in 2004 2.)An AQ "martyr" exposing himself to plague then taking an international flight and 3) nuclear world war in 2006.

The scheduling of the disaster drill in Yellowstone for the March 21 is exactly in the window for major quakes according to Jim Berkland. The highest probability for major quake activity according to his theory is within a couple days of the new moon. New moon falls on March 20.

He's got around an 80% accuracy rate.

It could be things are really heating up around Yellowstone.

I got curious about your earthquake posts, and ran a check on Wyoming earthquakes. It seems Jackson Hole has had about 3 since early January this year.

Yellowstone Update

Tuesday's first hour guest, geologist Jim Berkland (syzygyjob.com) correlated several events going on in the vicinity of Yellowstone as being indicative that something is happening there "that the public isn't being told about."

The events detailed by Berkland, included a report of an earthquake in Wyoming, which was later reclassified as a "mine blast," the mysterious deaths of elk in the area, and a major disaster drill planned at Yellowstone on March 21st.

He also noted that March 17th through the 24th is the window for likeliest quake activity this month.

What peaked my interest was the suggestion that it could be an underground nuke test. I don't think we would be able to get away with something like that. I would imagine there would be a particular siesmic signature that would go along with a nuke test. A 20 megaton underground explosion is supposed to be similar to a 5.0 earthquake. The mystery quake that was pulled registered 5.3.

On the Yellowstone activity, this could be a whole thread unto itself. There are wierd things happening out there. Go back and check the links that have been posted about this if you haven't already. It's unsettling.

They are still here in Idaho. A couple ran for political office in Hayden, but thankfully were not voted in. They are still alive and well as are the Al Qaeda scumbags.
