Since it didn't break today, are you still sticking by your guns?

We have to keep in mind that the capture of bin Laden is not the end to our war on terrorism.

Not at all. I'm pretty convinced that OBL isn't much more than a figurehead for AQ anyway. Still, the jihadis are going to go insane if we captured OBL. I hope we got him alive, it would be that much more humiliating to AQ.

It is more than one mind can understand, this attempting to keep up with the jihads that are in process all over the world.

I cannot think of country that is not being attacked and in some of them, such as India, it has gone on for years.

Israel is another country that people do not understand that the attacks are not really a "Jew" thing, but the muslims having decided to overtake the country and kill the Jews.

I don't know how to get people to face the rape and terror that comes when the muslim population takes over.

We have had a few rapes of young girls at Marco Island, last year there were FReeper threads on it.

Australia and England have had some nasty gang rapes, and get away with it.... After all the girl asked for it by the way she was dressed (western styles).

Somehow, we must stop this jihad or we will have lost the world.

Thank you for the food links, are you aware that you can make all those mixes from scratch for pennies?

Do a google search for:

make a mix food recipes in a jar

make a mix food recipes

There are also several Yahoo Groups with those type names and it is unreal the number of recipes out there.

Start saving every glass jar that comes your way, it will help if your friends will save them for you.

I don't use plastics. Theresa could taste all the plastic containers while she was going thru the cancer treatments, even the new plastic coffee containers.

Here in the desert I find the plastics rot and spoil.

Get Cast Iron pots, not the Teflon type pans, if you burn a Teflon pan in your kitchen, cage birds in the house will die. If it isn't good for them, it isn't good for me.

I try for organic, but am not hyper if it doesn't happen.

Be careful with the "Make a Mix" search, it can become a hobby...........LOL

Walton Feed.com also sells the soup mixes in #10 cans, I have several in storage. I use the peppers and onions in all recipes.

Yikes! I'm 4 weeks and 2 & 1/2 threads behind. My 'puter caught a NASTY bug which sent me and all my stuff crashing. Glad to see all is well and the work continues...

Bookmarking. Will be back later tonight.

Did anyone attempt any summaries while I was away? One is much needed about now (to help me catch up).

Sounds good to me. Chaos usually means less government and police forces that they have to worry about, and more people willing to let them do whatever they want.

This just came out about an hour ago: (Pakistan Daily Times)

Airports security beefed up

By Hasan Mansoor

KARACHI: The aviation authorities on Saturday declared a red alert at all airports across the country, which officials said was “a routine practice exercised ahead of Muharram every year”.

“There is no specific threat,” said a senior Airport Security Force official (ASF), who wished not to be named. “We have followed orders from senior officials.”

Keeping in mind the sensitivities surrounding the first Islamic month, the authorities had ordered that security arrangements be intensified at all airports in Pakistan, according to the official.

The official said visitors’ passes were cancelled at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport. Sources said a 72-hour alert had been ordered to thwart possible terrorism. “There will be high alert at airports for the next four days,” the official said.

Special commandos and officials from the ASF are keeping tight vigil at the airports, and luggage and passenger searches have been intensified, the official said.

The Crisis Control Centre, which was closed after the coalition forces completed major combat operations in Afghanistan, has been opened again. The official did not say whether security measures were strengthened after any specific threats were received from terror groups, including Osama Bin Laden’s Al Qaeda network.

Thousands of Pakistani military and paramilitary troops have launched a manhunt for Al Qaeda operatives in the country’s semi-autonomous tribal region of South Waziristan.

Follow link for composite picture of suspect:

http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/

EXCLUSIVE: 28 February 2004; Newburgh, NY-- Douglas Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, and Investigator "Skip" Callahan were in Newburgh, NY probing the unusual incident where the body of an unidentified diver was found in the Hudson River, near the Danskammer Power Plant. The above composite was made during the autopsy of the unidentified man; he is described as a white male, 5'7" tall, 160 pounds, with gold, double loop earrings in each ear. He also has two tattoos on his left chest and shoulder (one is a cross with the initials "C.M.M" and the other is of an angel with yellow hair). The man was wearing a mask and scuba gear when pulled from the icy Hudson River.

Investigators from the Northeast Intelligence Network are investigating the possibility that this man might be part of a larger terrorist operation referenced in a number of jihad forums within the past year. Based on the presence of federal authorities in Newburgh, NY, it would appear that they are considering the same possibilities. Developing...

For your link collection, in case you haven't see this:

9 Iraqi scientists murdered in past 4 months
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1087279/posts

A senior Iraqi scientist who had been involved in Iraq's nuclear program was found murdered in Baghdad recently, according to U.S. officials.

It was the ninth assassination of Iraqi scientists in the past four months, reports Geostrategy-Direct, the global intelligence news service. The last killing was that of Iraqi aeronautical scientist Muhyi Hussein.

Majid Hussein Ali, a professor at the College of Science at Baghdad University, was found dead in the Raghibah Khatun.

He had been shot twice in the back. The assassins are believed to be former members of Saddam Hussein's government.

The killing appears to be part of an effort to systematically eliminate Iraqi scientists and technicians involved in Saddam's nuclear program.

The scientist had been involved in nuclear physics research, notably nuclear centrifugal force.

Although the reason for the assassination campaign is unclear, U.S. officials believe the killings represent an effort to conceal the scope of Iraq's nuclear program.

Former CIA weapons inspector David Kay said in October that two Iraqi weapons scientists who had been cooperating with the U.S. military were shot, and one of them was killed.

The murdered scientist was shot in the head outside of his apartment.

"We think it was because, in fact, he was engaged in discussions with us," Kay said.

Iraqi scientists have been helping the Iraq Survey Group uncover the nuclear program, which had been on hold since 1991 with the goal of eventually being restarted.

It sure sounds like suspicions have been raised- in all three "diver" cases.

I wonder where he entered the water (since much of the river remains frozen).

I wonder what he died from. Is it a "suspicious" death, like those two Ukrainean cargo pilots?

Young guys in juvenile facilities, and older ones in prisons, often tattoo each other. Muslim groups recruit in the prisons. Just a thought.

What is going on with Iran? First, they threaten to overthrow Qaddafi if he discloses their nuke secrets, and now, they threaten Israel with "blinding response" if attacked.

Are they getting paranoid, or what?

(from ABC online news)

(February 29, 2004.)

Iranian defence minister threatens Israel in case of attack

Iranian Defence Minister Ali Shamkhani has threatened Israel with a blinding response if the Jewish state attacked Iran, despite ruling out the possibility of such a strike.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon would "suffer a lot ... if he commits the stupidity of attacking Iranian targets," Mr Shamkhani said, calling Israel a "glass fortress".

However, he said that he "totally excludes" an Israeli attack against his country.

On December 21, Israel's Haaretz newspaper quoted Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz as saying that the Jewish state could, if necessary, attack Iran's nuclear sites.

Asked about a report on Iran's state radio earlier on Saturday that Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had been captured in Pakistan, Mr Shamkhani said he "was not sure about the information".

Instead, the Minister said he had conducted "fruitful" meetings here with Lebanese leaders and Hassan Nasrallah, chief of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, which is supported by Iran.
