This movie continues to "percolate" within us. It's been a month and in some ways for me, it's even more awesome. ... There's so much to get my mind around in this film, I I know what you mean, it has been replaying over and over.. parts of the movie in a kind of a loop.. This wasn't a violent movie in the pop-culture kind of way we have been made to endure lately.. it was painful, gripping and so very sad.. I am struggling with the correct words to articulate my feeling.. perhaps everyone needs to find their own way..
I hope they see it.. one thing is absolutely sure..THE NAYSAYERS WERE WRONG, only a tormented bigot, will leave the theater with hate in their hearts, and a BUGS BUNNY CARTOON would start their engine..

You're right Carlo, there is nothing in this film like the pop-culture violence that we've all become so desensitized to.
Guy on news this morning was saying (in support of Passion) "where was the outrage about Texas Chainsaw Massacre?" And he's right. There are movies out there just as violent, just as graphic. BUT HAVE NO DEEPER MESSAGE OF LOVE!
And therein lies all the difference....
Sometimes I think we just need a ((((((hug)))))) after seeing this movie. :-)
