If the AWB expiration is your litmus test for freedom then join both the NRA and GOA. Pay the dues and give an extra $30 to $100 to help them lobby for your right.

I've done this for years as I figure it is the price I must pay to enjoy the use and ownership of my firearms. I can't protect the 2nd Amendment all by myself and we need the power of a group of like-minded citizens.

All these groups use the money for (if they are effective) is motivating people to contact their reps.
