He has a point that among the unfocused majority of Americans, there could be a backlash against President Bush if we push too hard on Kerry's service record.

Fairness (goose and gander getting equal treatment) is just not part of the program for the dominant media. We waste our time arguing for fairness for conservative views and actions.

After conceding that, I read every one of his responses as willfully antiBush. 4 years ago he was probably not a Bush supporter.

I will continue to do all that I can to get the true Kerry message out if he becomes the candidate. He abused privelege and yet GW Bush gets accused of it.

PS: I am listening to a caller on local talk radio right now outlining what Kerry did in Vietnam (leaving his vessel to kill a man already grievously wounded and out of sight of the boat's crew).

The host is berating the caller in the exact terms that Destro has used - saying Kerry served honorably, you can't take his silver star away, leave it alone.

I see this as the knee-jerk reaction. The understanding of what Kerry is really like WILL disseminate slowly to the general public, by way of millions of veterans. I have confidence that this will happen, Destro's and this talk show's views notwithstanding.

I supprted Bush 4 years ago. If I do not do so this time around depends how sick the memory of what he said regarding immigration amnesty and the CFR issue makes me in my stomach as I am about to press teh lever for the vote.
