I think this might turn into a showdown with Lewy unable to find the NIS report. I read that somewhere and don't recall.

The pro-Kerry side still maintains the truth of the Winter Soldier Investigation. A sample:

The claims that the WSI hearings contained falsified testimony from men who were not veterans is an old one, and it's definitely false. The testimony was startling even at the time it took place: startling to the general public, startling to the military and the Nixon administration, and startling to those who participated because each of them knew a piece of the story, but the hearings brought a great many of them together for the first time and provided a venue in which they could be heard for the first time. It's hardly surprising that those on the other side would set out almost immediately to discredit them.

They sound quite confident about the WSI.

They'll concede that AL Hubbard and others lied, but that those liars didn't testify at the WSI.

I have a narrow focus right now. Document the lies of just one of the WSI witnesses.

When I read your post that's what I thought, too. There must be a list of "witnesses". Does he name in that book some of the names he says were adopted by others as their own, for example.

It would be useful to document lies. But it would also be useful simply to pin this Winter Soldier stuff on Kerry. The maggot has been running from day one as a Vietnam War hero and patriot. So if he admits to this stuff, he is caught in one huge contradiction that will disillusion a lot of voters. He'd get nothing but the peacenik vote on this issue, plus the usual suspects who would vote Democrat if you ran a yellow dog on the ticket.
