I guess you think the Founding Fathers were "populists" too?

I can't speak for the others, but I would be satisfied with returning to the limited form of Gov't. espoused by the Constitution, in it's original form, and depart from the Fascista-esque policies that have caused most of our present problems. ;-)

But alas, you are just a statist, so I don't expect you can tell the difference between the Sons of Liberty and Free-traders, can you?

Well since you can speak for the founders I can too. They would have offshored manufacturing jobs too had they had the 21st century infrastructure we have today. They were nothing if not ruthless businessmen. They made up for it with slave labor though taking all the good jobs away from free men.
