Ok, so Turnipseed wishes he had never been part of this smear campaign on the president? Sorry, I'm not buying that.
He keeps right on doing his very best to stir the pot and keep the story alive. He's had way more attention than his confused ramblings ever deserved.
How about just being a little embarrassed for this pathetic man and letting him fade out of the news. He never belonged there.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Turnipseed told the truth and told it consistently from the start. His words were twisted out of context by Walter V. Robinson of the Boston Globe four years ago. (Robinson has a history of doing this.)
Turnipseed has done a lot recently to try to turn the story around and get the truth out. You are greatly mistaken in your remarks.
