Being the owner of a beloved Springer Spaniel, I can truly sympathize with the President and First Lady over their loss.
Our Mandy is 10, now--but so far, shows no signs of slowing down.

I have two, this is the female, Madison. She's 5 and he's (Oskar) is 4 and we have a 17mo son. I truly dread the day either of them dies.

(My 1.4 cents - It used to be 2 cents, but after taxes - you get the idea.)

You might be safe for a long while. I kept my first Springer until He was almost 20 years old and still
mobile but his hearing and sight was extremely weak and
his pains were becoming more evident when He was euthanized.
I have two now:one is 14 years old and still spry and acts
like he's still a puppy. The other is 3 years old and
a handful until he gets thru the frisky years.
