Thanks for the ping, R, I was a bit late in reading the thread since I’m travelling at the moment. Also, I haven’t forgotten the pics I mentioned. I’ll scan some when I get home at the end of the week and forward them to you.

I have not had the opportunity yet to follow the posted link but be wary of the “Walter Mitty” syndrome. I have personally come across at least a dozen people in the past 20 years who (unaware of my background) claimed to have served. None of them did and at least three of them had never even been in Rhodesia!

If anyone on this thread has a GENUINE interest, I may be able to answer the odd question or two, provided it does not compromise any other former colleague. (Contrary to his oft repeated-claims to the contrary, Comrade Bob and company have long, unhappy and unforgiving memories of us).
