In my experience most real combat vets don't talk about it much.
Sometimes they'll talk between themselves, but not with outsiders.
My dad still won't. My Korean War Vet uncles won't either.

I presume that you are referring to Kerry's betrayal of the POW-MIAs in Vietnam. True, McCain actually was a POW himself. But the sad thing is that he, too, betrayed the remaining POW-MIAs when he got on that congressional committee. So I suspect that Kerry and McCain have something in common: guilty consciences, insofar as they have consciences. And I think everybody does, no matter how deep they try to bury them.

That is very true. In fact McCain is believed to have betrayed his fellow POWs and America while still a POW. He is hated by many families of POWs and MIAs. I trust them over McCain or Kerry any day of the week!

Media & the hollyweirdo's continually rewrite history. It gets tedious hearing, 'hey, that's just like this movie I saw once where this army guy .....etc, etc,'. So unless there's a pair of 44d's staring back at me with lustful eyes, the conversation ends.

Regarding your tag line:

POW/MIA Bring 'em Home, Or Send us Back!!

I get disgusted every time I see a government building with that ugly black flag
flying below old glory.

If the government believes sufficiently that there are POW's to warrant
flying that ugly thing why aren't they sending us back to retrieve our brothers?

It's just another "symbol" used to placate the sheeple.

Man, right your.

When clinton was re-elected is when I not only lost faith in the American public.

Now, they can tell you how many times a n.f.l. quaterback poots during a day, but, have knowledge that effects their lives and freedom--forget it.

Enjoyed and agreed with your 'rant' in every way. I might add 'perception' is indeed reality to these libs.

Facts, truth and integrety doesn't matter in a libs world. Rather, it's deception, misrepresentations and being intellectually dishonest is their life. They can't help it. It's who they are.

Yes, it was a impossible situation Viet Nam vets were in. If Kerry exposed himself as a war criminal then he should be responsible for his actions. Why didn't he go through his change of command to tell what happen and clear his conscience? Why didn't he take responsiblity for actions as a officer? Because he didn't want to look bad and decides to lie what happen. He joins the VVAW to protest the war. He blamed everyone else in the military for committing atrocities. It was Kerry who committed atrocities not the entire military. He used the military as a scapegoat!

"a question..? has any POW group come forward yet to denounce kerry?" I can't give you a definitive answer because I don't know. But I have read and heard that the pictures of Kerry and Fonda and Kerry's testimony were shown to American POW's. But you'd have to do some research on that to confirm because I just don't know at this time.

All I can tell you is that from my personal combat experience and the intelligence that I had access to; that there were no "mass atrocities" by Marines in Viet Nam in 1969 and 1970. PERIOD! Semper Fi, Kelly

My dad a WWII vet didn't talk about his time in the Pacific until a few months before his death from a rapid growing cancer. Hubby's uncle was part of Merrill's Marauders original unit and only talke about it when he got rip roaring drunk.

"id like to contact any POW group for a couple of reaqson..numberone is to find out there stand on kerry and have them step fprward" Spell check is your friend. LOL
And google search can help you locate POW organizations. The VFW and the American Legion are excellent organizations also. Semper Fi, Kelly
