We also need some married Ladies to help us speculate on WHY Rebecca would leave her wedding rings off. Where were they, anyway, do you recall? Kitchen sink full of dishes, was she intending to wash them and removed her rings?

"tractor-trailers (do you think that means those big truck thingies?)"

Yes, thats what it means to me, those big rig thingies. :)

I'm thinking its about time for Ole Earnest to come forward and make a public statement of some kind.

Great points. It's totally unclear, to me, based on the article. Just said dogs were following scent from 'the family.' Based on the photos, wide open spaces all around that house. Hummm. One dog tracked their scent to an area behind the volunteer fire dept? WOnder what that means? Does it seem logical a stranger would park their car that far away, walk through the woods(?) fields(?) to that particular house? If so, why?

Yes, since they reported on the dirty dishes in the sink I'd expect that might be why she didn't have on her rings. Also, I read or heard some report that there was a half-full wine glass on the kitchen counter.

Thanks bunches. Looks very rural. Wonder if it's very wooded, or more fields than woods.

I don't now it's been a long time since I have been

I am frying to locate the farm but haven't so far.
I have confidence you and Darlin will solve this before LE

O-MG. Well, she wouldn't be drinking wine at 6-7 AM. I wouldn't think. Sounds as if the dirty dishes were dinner things and maybe the wine fits in there. Sounds odd to just leave it like that, though. Seems interrupted, somehow, doesn't it. Seems more normal, generally speaking, to dump residue down the sink, or finish it, doesn't it?

I think he was only charged with robbery. The two remainng men were the ones charged with actually murdering the man. It would be crazy for anyone connected to those men to kidnap or harm Michael Hargon since plenty of other family members could testify at any parole hearing. Besides, parole isn't granted based on a request from a family member.

Kitchen sink full of dishes, was she intending to wash them and removed her rings?

Likely. Or any other type of cleaning she would have removed them. A plain band you don't remove as much but a set you have to take off or you risk losing the stones.

Oh Lord, don't think that, not about me, anyway. LOL. On the other hand, Darlin' has had so much to deal with, for years now, with that mess of killings going on in her area. She's gotten real good at this detective stuff. :)

Maybe wherever the dogs lost the scent is where the people/killers/victims got into a vehicle.

I know that some dogs can track even under those circumstances but I don't think that is 100% accurate for 100% of tracking dogs. Anyway, just another thought.

Uncle Charles Hargon lived in Camden.
Appears to be 15\20 miles west of Vaughan

LOL. I'll buy your gasoline, anytime to want to refresh your memory. :)

Seriously, as best you can recall, does it seem plausable, to you, a stranger could park near that fire dept, and hike over to their home? Or, would it seem more likely it could be someone who knew the area?

Yes, that seemed odd to me, too. I'd think you'd pour out any residual wine. Who knows, she may have intended to come back to it Friday night but fell asleep watching a movie or something. He father said she was very tired from taking care of their little boy, she'd even taken at least one day off from work to tend to him.

Thank you. Okay, so it seems likely she was getting ready to clean her kitchen when the bad stuff started. Really makes sense, to me. Husband had gone to tend to family business and had taken a sausage biscuit to the friend at the farm. Another poster said Michael did not own a 22. News reports quoted police as saying spent 22 cartridges were found IN the PUT, owned by Michael, and blood found outside the truck or on the door of the truck. I'm unclear about that part of it, since I've read both.

Okay, it makes sense to place her cleaning up, or getting started on cleaning her kitchen/home. Her Father was told it was HER blood they found. Thoughts? Anyone?
