It's a real shame that this part of history is overlooked and even mocked as a lie by many people. It always behooves us to know the truth, even when the truth is not popular.

Thanks for the info. I once read (I believe it was in The Washington Times)about a young black man who takes part as a Confederate in reenactments since his ancestors fought for the South.
