Okay, I'm confused here. I thought the islam dictators blocked all the candidates who want to get islam out of their government, and that the people who supported those who were blocked boycotted voting.
So how are they going to say good-bye to the dictators?

Okay, the people who were blocked,(the reformists) didn't necessarily want Islam out of the government. Only a small few. The rest just thought a couple of the laws were a little stiff. But they hadn't really accomplished any reforms since the last election. So, they were really worthless. They weren't going to get rid of religion in government. Yes, the 'hardliners' did block the 'reformists', as they're called. THE dictator is Khamenei. The 'reformists' have to do what he says. They weren't getting rid of him . So, nothing would change.
The people boycotted the elections because they didn't want either group.
It's the People that don't want a theocracy.

(I've had a long day, so I hope that makes sense)
