They don't care about endangering the country, nor about running the economy into the ditch.
Their #1 goal is regaining power, regardless of the cost.

Remember the Libs are supremely arrogant. They think that the world thinks the way Americans think - and those who don't aren't worth consideration.
So when our enemies watch the politics here they think that America is stupid and weak(minded). They are encouraged to continue their activities.
The libs thus make W's job that much harder, and endanger our military personnel - which is the primary, but definitely not the only, reason a Dem is to be despised.

The left ALREADY HAS the power, of the mainstream media.
And they have the cultural power in Hollywood, and our universities.
Leslie Stahl admitted as much last nite, she said "there is only so much power to go around, and the press has gotten the power back from Bush after the events of 9/11".
I have been saying for the last 20 years, our enemy is NOT the Dems, it is the elite-media in NY and Hollywood.

You are right. Yet I still trust that clear thinking individuals will stop listening to the left's rhetoric (most people I know have) and let the voice of reason (read: current administration) prevail.

There is no word for honesty in the democratic language.
The entire concept is alien to them.

Given that the administration's house of cards on Iraq's WMD has fallen with a passing breeze, and they have changed their reasoning for the war several times...Say the same lie over and over and they'll believe it...
We went to war because Saddam chose to violate a peace treaty...the UN voted 15-0 to give him one last chance. He ignored them. Read the resolutions if you're still confused.

Hooee.
"Truth" is perishable.
Once, the world was flat. Once, we couldn't go faster than the speed of sound.
War decisions were made on the "truth" as we knew it, at the time.
It's the back-biting afterwards, when "truth" changed (due to our action, I might add) that makes us look weak.

They don't care if it costs lives or jobs. If they have to lie, cheat and steal they will do it. Its all about appealing to their left base for $$$ donatios because that where all their money comes from. Its the Money.

Now you're talking my language. I detest the press and consider them enemy #1. (Well, behind the Islamists, that is).
