Terri Schiavo Alert! Terri needs immediate help!

I am sure that other Freepers have already posted this information somewhere else, but this is such an urgent matter that I am not willing to take the chance that this info may not get out to the public..

At this moment Terri Schiavo is in grave danger, and her supporters need to rally to her aid.

Reports have been issued that Terri has begun to vomit. This is very dangerous for Terri. The liquid nutrients she is being fed will likely fill her mouth and then enter into her respiratory tract causing severe pneumonia that would most likely end in Terri’s death.

I wont waste Time with conjecture here, but I find it odd that just now, when the worm has finally turned ,and the courts have ruled against Michael and his cohorts that Terri suddenly can’t keep her food down.

I think this is it folks. I believe that someone is attempting to expedite Terri’s death.

We need to contact the Governor’s office now and let him know that it is his duty to put a stop to this madness. He has the power (regardless of what you have been told) to stop this now.

The Schindler's are very upset. It appears that Terri suddenly, and without known cause, began vomiting.
As in the MICHAEL SCHIAVO plan of attack.....SCHIAVO has AGAIN given ORDERS to the nurses and doctors that under no uncertain terms are they to release any information to the Schindler's about Terri's condition.
I as a nurse, will say this to all of you.
This is not rocket scientist material. The picture is as clear as day. I feel like I am sitting in a theater and watching a premeditated murder mystery.

January 7th 2004 Michael Schiavo files for a petition to modify the visitation. In the petition he request strict orders to allow him to be the only person to dictate all orders with Terri upon her admit to an acute care setting.

Feb 14, 2004 Court Extends Schiavo Case!

Gov. Jeb Bush and Terri Schiavo's parents both won court victories Friday in their battle to keep the brain-damaged woman alive. Bush will get another shot at possibly questioning Michael Schiavo and his relatives about their contention that his wife made statements before her illness indicating that she would not want to be kept alive in such a state.

February 17th--- Terri begins vomiting. Doctors and nurses at Parkside are given STRICT orders by Michael Schiavo to NOT talk to the family. They are NOT permitted to PROVIDE any information at ALL about their daughters condition.
My constitutional rights allow me to tell you what I suspect and wonder as a nurse with 25 years of experience.

Was the RATE of Terri's tube feeding increased?

Was Terri laid flat while being tube fed?

As a nurse, there are many questions I have as to WHY Terri has suddenly began vomiting??????

ALL Nurses, even Michael Schiavo R.N. understand the potential dangers and outcome of aspiration pneumonia.
We need to WRITE, CALL, FAX, and EMAIL Governor Bush NOW!

Time is of the essence!

Terri needs protection!
Terri NEEDS to immediately be made a WARD of the state of Florida!

To Fight4Terri Supporters:

A few minutes ago, I spoke with Bob and Mary. Apparently, the vomiting has ceased. However, Bob and Mary are indeed very concerned and say they may even suspect someone laid Terri flat. But they are not sure. The nursing staff will not tell them anything. Mary said there was one nurse who used to talk to them but she will not say a word because Michael gave direct orders to not tell them anything.

I asked Bob if Terri had felt warm today. He replied, that her skin was "cozy warm." When a tube fed patient has experienced a bout with vomiting, the concerns about how well they recover remain just as great after the course of emesis, as during the time the tube fed patient is vomiting. There is always great potential for the patient to have aspirated the feeding into the lungs and the symptoms such as fever, coughing ect, might not appear for a day or two.

If Terri begins to show signs of aspiration pneumonia, Michael will inevitably deny her treatment. Just as he has done before. We need to maintain an ACTION ALERT and request Governor Bush to remove Terri from under Michael's guardianship and make her a temporary ward of the state of Florida now!

I shouldn't say this, but I will...and I mean no animosity or disagreement with anyone who wants to keep her alive.
I hope also, that no one gets angry because I express my thoughts.

However, in those quiet moments, when I think of this situation I can only think to myself "God, if this were me I would want to be allowed to go."

There are many things worse than death, and when that time comes, I wish for myself death with some semblance of dignity - instead of lingering decline and family anguish.

I don't know how it happened that the monster husband wasn't immediately removed as guardian and put under a restraining order....or at the very least, supervised visits, pending investigation when Terri's Law was first passed. I think most of us just assumed that she would be protected from him at that point. What is the saying about faith not being faith till it's all you're holding on to?

should be allowed to die do to a significant birth defect.

My dad and mom disagreed and fought to save my life.
