I live in the Bay Area and work in SF with SERIOUS liberals. I have to bring a special blanket to scream in when I hear the conversations. Forget that these marriages are completely ILLEGAL, and forget the fact that the AG does NOTHING, and also the Governor, except to 'encourage' them to obey the law. It DOESN'T MATTER. When you bring up something like, "Well, carrying a concealed weapon in California is illegal without a permit. What if everyone just said 'I don't care; I don't feel safe and I'm carrying my gun.'" You get looks like you're from Mars! Guns are evil, so that's different, whereas gays are cuddly and discriminated against. Surely I must be a hater and surely I must see the difference. Then a smug look like 'It's OK; we forgive you; conservatives are just stupid and don't get it.' ARRGGHH!!
