It would be rude to have guests over and not allow them to smoke, then again it's your home. You should let them know ahead of time, if their smoking is non-preferable.I have to disagree, a mans home is his castle, if he chooses to have a smokefree home, so be it, we have lots of friends who do not allow smoking in their home, and thats fine with us.

People can be very uptight about smoking in their homes and this is OK. But some go even further by not letting you wear shoes in their house. People have become so rude , it seems.

I did say, then again it's your home. That was kind of along the lines that the host has the position of "king of the castle". I totally agree with that, my thought was in response to whomever it was I was responding to.
