You are right and it's beginning to look more and more like FTAA is already a done deal. We see limited federal response to ranchers and Border Patrol begging for help, Bush proposing Soc. Security benefits for illegals who've worked here for a time then went back to Mexico....never mind that the average illegal Mexican receives thousands in welfare style benefits, the fedgov's embrace of the Organization of American states and their stated "goals" for this hemisphere...which spews nothing less than a pure Communist philosophy, etc. Those of us paying attention are seeing the formation of a new American Union right before our eyes.

However, the undiscussed and unanswered qurestion is what happens to our system of laws, Constitutional rights and national sovereignty under this new arrangement? Who gets to pay for all this "harmonization"?.....hmmmmm, one guess. Currently, we're in an election cycle and not one word from the candidates about this transformation of our country into this new hemispheric supra-national "arrangement"....hmmm kinda makes one wonder doesn't it?

I keep saying it....FTAA is for all the marbles and if we Americans don't wake up until it's too late then the greatest experiment in human freedom will be relegated to the dustbin of human history.

I have written my local RNC Chairman. I told him I will vote for GWB in November, but I WILL NOT donate to the Republican Party again until Bush stops this insanity with illegals and open borders and welfare for interlopers.

Withholding monies seems to be the only way to get attention anymore.
