IF CLINTON DID ANYTHING even close to this plan and this article came out you all would be up in arms.Clinton was a Democrat president, Bush is a Republican president. It's not what is being done that matters, it is who is doing it. You're pretty new, so I understand why you don't realize this yet.
BTW, welcome.

Rediculous hypothetical arguments about my professional options are not a response. You do not respect the law of the land. You prefer world citizenship to current immegration law yet you do not have the guts to say it. I have asked you kindly to exlain your veiws and you refuse.
To: looscnnn
What is being done to secure our borders? I have asked this over and over and no one answers. What is being done? Nothing. At least nothing that has significant effect.
No one answers? I just did.

"No one answers? I just did."
Sorry, I meant that those in favor of the proposal do not answer the questions. Lots of those that are against it do answer. Thanks for pointing that out.

You prefer world citizenship to current immegration law yet you do not have the guts to say it. Really? I am NWO'er? Huh? I am just for employers to find the best employess they can so they can be successful to build and spread wealth.
I guess that notion is the ultimate evil to you.

If conservatives get behind a proponent of Constitutional integrity and tax relief like Michael Peroutka soon, we wouldn't have to have liberals like Kerry or any other socialist Democrat. Sure thing. Howard Phillips, the Constitution Party candidate for president in the 2000 election received a scant 98,016 votes, or 0.09% of the total. I don't expect to see Michael Peroutka to do any better.
The stark reality is...it's either 4 more years of Bush or 4-8 years of John Kerry. Given that choice I'll go with Bush every time, despite his failings on immigration reform.

No, you will not get off that easy. I am not against capitalism or even globalism for that matter. I am not part of the "olive tree" if that is your argument. The thing I find interesting about your response is that you are on this forum yet show no loyalty to your nation. While I support capitalism I do not support child labor, I support a global pro-capitalist economic model but I am an American first and foremost. I belong to a people, a nation, with history and culture completely unique to itself. Do you believe the 101 jumped into Normandy to ensure that the right employer could find the right employee?
To: VU4G10
The Bush policy in regards to Mexico is not what elected Conservative Americans should be about. Its more in line with the policy of Fat Willy and the DNC.

The fact that Bush suggested his plan only proves his disconnect with what the American people want. His love fest with that creep Fox is disturbing.
To: novacation
As I have said, those who want to believe this post are going to, no matter what I say.
Fox isn't a saint, but he is certainly better than his opponent, and he has a leftist legislature that he is stuck with. I don't think one can quantify Bush's relationship with Fox as more than cordial, especially since 9/11. However, I realize many folks think we should be hurling insults across the border.
I am not going to convince you, so I will again depart from this thread. Time will tell who is right.

Word of the 2000-mile wide open door between Mexico and the U.S. has spread far beyond Mexico. It is not just Mexicans who are flooding into our border states anymore. Along with the Nicaraguans, Brazilians, Venezuelans, Ecuadorians, and Chileans, agents of the Border Patrol now encounter Chinese, Pakistanis, and Indians.
How many al-Quida terror cells have slipped across our joke of a southern border along with the thousands of other lawbreakers drawn by the promise of American jobs and amnesty offered by President Bush?

Well, well, "a true American". Actually they landed on Normandy because a guy named Hitler was a danger to the ciivlized world, not to protect the "The Toll" purty test on businesses.
I have stated many times that I am all for rounding up illegals who are violent or white collar criminals, also ones who scam the welfare system, but I do not consider a person working a good days work cleaning toilets or doing dishes in a restaurant on the par of murder or rape as you obviously do.

Yes, but to really see people flooded out of jobs by illegals (who will soon be legal) you need to go to a border state or California.
You can't even get a factory job here. They already have them and those jobs would be pretty good ones for many Americans.
Mexicans are making $12-15/ hour just like my spouse and I at our business.
Get ready to live in a 3rd world country people.
To: The Toll
Do you believe the 101 jumped into Normandy to ensure that the right employer could find the right employee? AMEN.
To: Miss Marple
The long and short of the matter is the American people want illegal immigration stopped. They don't want illegal to be rewarded. They don't want illegals to be forgiven.Bush even floating his insane amnesty program alienated the conservatives in this country who Bush needs to win.His primary job is to defend the coutrty AND THAT INCLUDES DEFENDING IMMIGRATION LAWS AND DEFENDING THE BORDER AGAINST INVADERS.He is a miserable failure on both counts.
To: looscnnn
"Same here, but his support for extending the AWB is right there also."
Yes, that's true.
To: #3Fan
And furthermore, there has been no "amnesty" anyway. More than a misleading headline. The door is no more open than it was before.
