Massachusetts Democrats are devising a plan to keep John F. Kerry's US Senate seat in their party's hands by blocking Governor Mitt Romney from naming an interim replacement if Kerry wins the White House. Beacon Hill lawmakers want to pass legislation that would leave Kerry's seat vacant for two months or more, until a special election is held to fill it. That would prevent the Republican governor from naming an interim senator, as is currently required by state law.

As everyone here knows, pointed out so perfectly by El Rushbo, the democrats need to feed their partners in crime by deciding on a universal term that is then used to create the illusion that there is a common realization among the press of a real problem.....

When this was used in a simpler news world, it looked like everyone came upon the thought innocently and the folks at home were fooled...

No "choice of the people" in that election ...

When Dole (a republican) ran for the President, he was told (by Dasshole and the press) he had to give up his Senate seat ....

But Lieberman (a democrat) ran for BOTH Semate and VP in the same election !

Meaning if they get "married" in canada they can come back to U.S. and it will be legal.
