I'm sure some people who reject Constitutional amendments (required at both state and federal levels since activist judges are present at both levels) are legitimately for same sex marriage, but I think there are other "useful idiots" who are just blind to the dangers or who with wishful thinking don't want to take any strong stand in hopes that everything will all just wash over.
