The "media" is not as powerfull as they once were.
They will attempt many desparate things in their final, futile death spasms.
Lots of people here decry the ignorance of the general public.
They might want to consider the possibility that the general public stopped paying attention to the "media" a long time ago, and the "media" has finally clued into that.
