"if your going to use kazaa,be careful can be a major headache"Can be? It is. Use Kazaa Lite (v. 2.4.3), unless you enjoy pop-ups, spyware and malware.

Yep, it's great. I still run Ad-aware, but Spybot is probably all a person needs.
BTW, stu52 . . . Welcome to FR! :-)

thats what i use
it still has some bugs sometimes

Oh, sure. For example, if you like playlists, you've probably noticed that it shuffles, erases and even duplicates them from time to time. One way around that is to only have huge playlists with, say, 150 tunes each. For reasons I can't fathom, KL doesn't mess with large lists.

this is why i only play my files in winamp not the kazaa player
To: MetalHeadConservative35
Yep, one of my homeys does just that.

Back when I had a PC and was on MSN, I found out that MSN blocked regular email (no kidding). Try using a webmail interface and see if you can send attachments that way. It may be your ISP that's screwing up your email program. Just a thought. I switched to Earthlink and haven't had any problems (I also switched to Mac, which solved a lot of other problems), but the email was strictly an ISP issue.

Back when I had a PC and was on MSN, I found out that MSN blocked regular email (no kidding). MSN email blocks attachments that contain scripts. I don't know if there's a workaround. I do know from recent experience that you can't receive a Delta eTicket through MSN. Delta has known about this for a long time and refuses to stop sending attachments with scripts.
Since a lot of Freepers brag about disabling scripts, I'm not sure the MSN policy is evil. I can say that I've only lost one legitimate attachment for this reason in four years.

You sound like an expert at computing so here I go. No one has been able to help with this so I decided to look here for help.
Certain pages on the internet will not download. I have Verizon DSL and Internet Explorer running windows XP. Up until a few months ago I never noticed this problem but in the last few months there are certain pages that just do not download. I click refresh maybe 10-20 times and finally the page will download. Some links do not open either like help documents etc. Any advice-resources?

This can be a problem with DSL. While there are many potential causes, I'm guessing that your problem has to deal with something called the MTU setting. In basic terms, this setting is the maximum transmission unit that your hardware can handle, and sometimes it needs to be lowered. If you're interested in how to optimize this setting, there is a link here:
http://www.broadbandreports.com/faq/tweaks
This is probably more than you wanted to know, but it's the start of a solution. The alternative is that your DSL customer service knows exactly the quirks of its system, and can lead you to a solution without you having to learn all of the background material on this issue.
