Let the FBI fathers handle this as an internal affair.

Wonder if he was connected in some way to the "cone of silence" that covered convicted spy and FBI agent Robert Hanson?

Had a DI named Bell that used to flex his arms (they were HUGE!!) and say, "ya'll have arms like these when I'm done with ya lilys, but first ya gots ta SUFFA!!!"
He was a PT monster, could do more one armed pushups than most of us could do with two arms.
When ever I think of real long drawn out agony, I remember him, and "SUFFA!!"

In my eyes child molestation is worse than hit and run. How can you think otherwise?

AH, the enlightened words of an evolutionist. You are aware that this is a conservativeboard, yes?A belief in creationism is not required to be a conservative, no? Or are you just talking out of your ass?

"Something is seriously screwed up in this country."Yes, but not in this case. Arizona and Texas are two different jurisdictions with two entirely different populations and politics. Each of them is entitled to set its own sentencing practice. Or don't you believe in states' rights? Would it make you happy if Vermont conformed its state gun laws to those of New York, just for the sake of "uniformity"?

I'd be happy if a man who killed someone with his car and drove away got something more than a max three year sentence, possibly only probation. That's not right in any state.

It wasn't murder, it wasn't even homicide. None of the authorities ever implied it was anything other than an accident, which was not Bishop O'Brien's fault. The only thing he was guilty, or even accused of, was hit and run, for which he will punished.
In light of those facts, to consider hit and run as comparable to the molestation of children would be perverse.

"I'd be happy if a man who killed someone with his car and drove away got something more than a max three year sentence,,,"A guy in my town here in California did just that, got caught and did no time at all. Probation, alcohol treatment, community service. Drunk driving hit-and-run and he essentially skated. California voters, in their wisdom, have decided that they like criminals and don't want to build more prisons (a moot point since they can't afford a pot to pee in these days -- evidently they also like be robbed blind by their legislators). So they only incarcerate the really bad ones and then let them out way before their sentences are up.
The beauty of states' rights is that you can always move to another state once the state you live in goes completely insane, like mine has.
