Trailer with 50,000 pounds of fertilizer MISSING - FALSE ALARM

A trailer with Oklahoma tag number 4205CN is missing from a plant in Henry County, just south of Atlanta.

Henry Co. PD has just notified surrounding agencies, and are looking for help...

This is just breaking on television; details to come.

As folks know, this much fertilizer could easily be combined with other chemicals to make a particularly nasty explosive.

Depends on what the "fertilizer" is. 50,000 lbs of 8-8-8 would not blow the hat off your head. 50,000 lbs of manure wouldn't either. Don't be stampeded so easily.

If it's from a plant, that might be ammonium nitrate which is no joke. Details when availble would be helpful.
