I am grateful that I do not have absolute power. I think I would be a deadly and retributive dictator, starting with arrogant goverment office holders such as Bob Holden, maybe a bunch of judges and a whole 'passel' of journalists.

The inbred Democratic Party in Missouri breeds idiots; Holden is merely the latest in a long line.

Slither, you copperheads and rattlers! What an arrogant POS. Just goes to prove that the will of the people means absolutely nothing in modern Amerika.

"How do you with a straight face equate abortion with business and agriculture"?----That`s easy. When you equate a "mass of cells" as a commodity ; harvested for profit. That is how these pro-choicers veiw it. It is not a life, it is an industry.

"What is up with the citizens of this state" ?---He may be the Governor but he is in the minority. There are many reasons he was elected , but, he will not be re-elected to another term. You could bank on that one.

Holden referred to Republican legislators' attempts to reduce the government burden on business and agriculture, and criticized the fact that they also "want the government smack in the middle of the most personal decisions a woman has to make."

Moral relativism taken to its logical conclusion, lunacy.

"The only reason OTB [One-term Bob] got elected was sympathy for Carnahan. And after he got elected, he proved he was awful in so many ways."

Plus OTB got 100% of the votes from the dead in St Louis.

I think the Room Temperature demographic usually breaks hard for the Democrats, no matter where in the country. St. Louis, Chicago, Louisiana, South Dakota, you name it.

In 2004, however, OTB will have to find a whole lot more Phineas T. Cobb's and Goody Goodwyfe's to pull this one out.

I don`t think he will make it past the Dem. primary election ; I believe Claire McCaskill will get the knod from the demonrats. Did you see the polls in the Post-Dispatch recently ? Holden is toast.
