The President met with Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in the Oval Office of the White House to discuss regional security and diplomatic issues. (Geography refresher: Tunisia is in North Africa, borders eastern Algeria and is SW of Italy, across the Mediterranean; the CIA wrote recently, "Tunisia has taken a moderate, non-aligned stance in its foreign relations.")
Laura Bush visited students and educators at Limerick Elementary School in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles, promoting literacy. Mrs. Bush encouraged students to read more than they watch television.
And on a "know your opponents" note: the democrats continue to run in Circles of Confusion, today's version of Dante's Divine Comedy: The Inferno.
Enjoy your Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island!
Ask the White House: "NASCAR's Michael Waltrip answered your questions about NASCAR and the Daytona 500"

I'd rather have a root canal..
Imagine waking up next to that creature???
I thought I told you enough visuals, already!!
;-)
P.S.
I've never been drunk enough in my life to even go to bed with something that looks like that, or stands for what he does..much less marry him!
Terr..ay..zah must have access to some really good stuff...or is blind.

Oh WOW... what an incredible, handsome, roaring with life and shining with spirit gentleman! He is YOURS? Eric? You must just be bursting with pride to have a such an amazing son :-)
I read your comments about him and what an inspiring gent he is and I didn't know folks were still growing them like that... I thought I went and got me the very last one ;-) He sounds very much like my beloved hubby... a treasure of a man and every woman's dream of a husband. I'm so incredibly lucky and realize it every day :-)
Seriously, I will add him to my prayers that he has a fascinating tour in Iraq and comes home to find the woman of his (and your) dreams afterwards :-)

If you wrote your story to Barbara Bush, you would get a personal reply, I am sure!
My mother wrote to her in 2000, to ask her to suggest to her son that he smile broadly, and not with what the press called the smirk. It was a serious thoughtful letter, and she got a very considerate reply.

One of his 'roomies' wives sent it, I think.
At that point, only 4 of his Unit had moved to their present location, so he missed out on all the Christmas caroling, et al.
To tell you the truth, when I saw all his pictures from Christmas morning (the one I posted was Christmas Eve), I broke down and cried........

Rose. I COMPLETELY agree.
He's going to win, and he's going to win big.
I sense it too. It's not going to make me sit on my hands. I'm going to work like crazy to do what I can to make it happen.
But he's going to win. And you can take that to the bank........ :o)

RE: Your son's b-day dessert--
I love cheesecake so that's my vote!
However, the other choices sound delicious, too, and I'm sure any one of them would be a success. :-)

RE: Laura's weight
She has said she exercises a lot and lifts weights. Wish I was as consistent about exercising! One thing, she looks healthy, no matter what her weight. Some people look so UNhealthy when they lose weight, but not her.
