A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 2.18.04

The President met with Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in the Oval Office of the White House to discuss regional security and diplomatic issues. (Geography refresher: Tunisia is in North Africa, borders eastern Algeria and is SW of Italy, across the Mediterranean; the CIA wrote recently, "Tunisia has taken a moderate, non-aligned stance in its foreign relations.")

Laura Bush visited students and educators at Limerick Elementary School in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles, promoting literacy. Mrs. Bush encouraged students to read more than they watch television.

And on a "know your opponents" note: the democrats continue to run in Circles of Confusion, today's version of Dante's Divine Comedy: The Inferno.

Enjoy your Dose of W, and welcome to Sanity Island!

Ask the White House: "NASCAR's Michael Waltrip answered your questions about NASCAR and the Daytona 500"

When mine comes home, after the hugs and stuff, he makes a bee-line for the cookie jar. He's actually disappointed if it's empty. REGARDLESS of whether he eats any, he needs the jar full. :-)

41 shopping at Sam's is in The First Grand Lady's (BB)latest book and is quite funny..... large cans of spaghetti sauce etc.

Last year at Christmas there were pictures of Laura with employee at the Waco Home Depot and an article on FR ....the article also said she stopped at two other places to shop. One BB&B the other I can't recall.

RE: headaches; you can also alternate Advil and Tylenol, every two hours. My dr. said to do it with the kids if they had a high fever. It can be really hard to get those headaches under control. Hope one of these suggestions helps!

The problem here is you are stating facts. Liberals don't pay any attention to facts.

Does he love his commander-in-chief as much as I do?

The Servant by Ron DiCianni

"If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, the servant of all." (Mark 9:35 NIV) It would help us if we realized that greatness is in the hand of God. He distributes it as He sees fit. We must only position ourselves to receive it by obedience. Then we relax and watch the blessing of God pour out on that servant's life." -R.D.

Lord Jesus, pour out Your Spirit now upon our President. <><

Our dog had six puppies last Jan. We didn't sell them as fast as we expected so they got several sets of shots before they found their new homes. THEN we decided to keep TWO of the puppies ('we' meaning husb. and kids) AND we had their mom.

All three of them were spayed/neutered.

More shots.

Kenneling when we were gone for cattle shows and out of town.

More shots.

Cat got hurt and put to sleep. Another bill for treatment, euthenasia, burial.

Weight loss food for fat mother dog.

Daughter 'adopts' another cat within the week of the other cat being put to sleep. I don't even LIKE the new cat, but go for shots, 'fixing' etc.

Daughter 'adopts' ANOTHER cat. This weekend will get shots, 'fixed,' etc. At least I like this cat. :-)

Spend more on the vet each month than groceries!!! LOL!

But, despite it all, our labs and cats have brought soooo much love to our home. There have been some hard times for our family the last year (what family HASN'T had them!) and the dogs and cats have been such a comfort to us, with their unconditional love.

I've been thinking about chekcing out the net for meds--what site did you go to?

Well, yes, except that he's male, of course!

He got to shake the President's hand (when I got a kiss on the cheek from him). He was pretty excited about it!

He's a really strong Christian, VERY high moral standards (no swearing, no alcohol), smart, friendly, polite (he opens doors for girls).

Still interested? LOL!

Good for Laura!!! I imagine it must hurt to have to listen to so many lies told about the man she loves.

***You MUST make the cookies.***

She's gotta get those five rolls of film developed and the pictures into the scrapbooks first!

Yes, embrace the grief. I thought about that this morning during prayers. You just have to let it go. Cry your eyes out, swell that face, until you are drained. Then take a Tylenol PM and sleep.

God does not expect you to be brave. He knows your pain and sorrow and that you might even be mad at HIM. He can take it.

I talk like I know what you're going through, and I've not lost a child. I lost my DOG. There's no comparison, but grief is grief. It's been well over a year since Cubby died and I still cannot dwell on it. But, it's easier.

I can't tell you how many times I wandered thru the house with deep sobs emanating from my belly, my husband beside himself. It just has to come out.

It won't be easy, and it won't be fast, and you'll never, ever get over the loss. But time will help.

**I figure it can't be any worse than the strong stuff some people get from their docs. **

1600mg of vicodin should do the trick. ;o)

About F'ns 4.3 million dollar home. That may be the one
he has in Georgetown. The one he borrowed on was the
multimillion dollar townhouse in Boston. There is also
the home in Nantucket.
I am shocked, I thought dems were just the working class.
Edwards also has a multimillion dollar home in Georgetown.
I live in a 1 bedroom apt. So much for the rich republican theory.
