But here's the best part: The City's brave move was not merely a giant well-manicured middle finger to the Christian Right and indignant homophobic conservatives everywhere. Nor was it just an audacious act of civil disobedience, guaranteed to raise the ire of Bible thumpers and so-called pro-family groups hailing everywhere from Orange County to Colorado Springs. That's just a nice bonus.
Such hate. And what the writer has not figured out yet is that soon any local, state or federal official that does like a law may just ignore it (just like the SF mayor). You applaud it now (when used to promote your own social agenda) but will hate it when it is used against you...

Trouble is the libs never get anything used against them. Only the right does. If we were to demand they leave our ten commandments alone, they will say oh but thats against the law! Bill Press said that Alabama judge belonged in jail for his refusal to remove the ten commandments from the courthouse. Lets see if this mayor loses his job like the good judge did.
