If Edwards starts to get some serious attention, what does that do to Terry "McAwful's" braying about the National Guard issue? Edwards "dodged" the draft because he was in shark city ( law school ) . The reason he tends to get a pass on this is because he looks younger than he is - the draft was still in force and he was eligible - a lot of people assume the draft was over by then.
The spinning that would have to take place to explain the hypocrisy here will be fun to watch ( maybe someone could post the scene from "The Exorcist" and paste Terry's head on the girl ).
Not so. Edwards was in law school from fall of 1973 to the spring of 1977. They weren't drafting anyone at that point. From what I've read, Edwards had a high draft number and thus didn't get that letter from Uncle Sam.
