I loved the cannon itself!
I was in artillery and loved every second of when we were actually doing fire missions.
Last I heard, Atomic Annie was sitting where I last saw her in pretty much pristine condition.
When I saw her, her paint still looked to be in good condition.
Not having seen one of her type in actual working condition I cannot say if she could be pulled off the pad and actually fired, but to my eyes I didn't see anything that would prevent her from being fired ever again.
Of course, I suspect that Fort Sill would take jealous pride in that particualr cannon, Fort Sill IS the home of artillery after all.
*chuckle*
