(IsraelNN.com) Officials in Jerusalem are giving serious thought to extending an invitation to American President George W. Bush who next month will be traveling to Turkey. Israels ambassador to Washington reportedly made the suggestion since Mr. Bush will be in the region.
Political analysts feel such a visit at this time is most unlikely.

In addition to visiting Jerusalem, in my opinion President Bush really should keep his campaign promise to officially recognize Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel and agree to move our embassy there.

This is a pathetic attempt on Sharon's part to keep his job. I don't see how anything of benefit to Israel would come from this.
