Show love, understanding and compassion to those who are suffering, even if their suffering is the result of their own wrong choices.

Help those who are down or off the right track to find the path that will enable them to really make it.

As for those who are determined to destroy our people and our nation by violence, arrest and/or shoot the SOBs.

Counter the lies of the media and throw out the corrupt, self-serving, lying politicians who seek to damage our nation through their lies.

And strongly support those, like our President, who stand and labor for our protection.

Thanks for your article, and I agree with your compassionate position. with the current state of hiv drugs they can now live long and productive lives. God loves all people and wishes them well despite the negative and hateful comments from their fellow human beings. He who is without sin can throw the first stone.

As you can see by the above we still have a lot of religious "pharisees" out there.

Last year, 90 percent of the HIV-positive mothers served by Project ARK lacked insurance or were on Medicaid. Seventy-nine percent were black, and 20 percent were white. Most of the clients live in St. Louis, East St. Louis or nearby metro areas.

How terribly politically incorrect of this author!!! Such blatant truth-telling is an inexcusable crime against humanity!!!! How dare someone print facts about the racially inequitable distribution of a sexually transmitted disease!!!!

This is an outrage… like citing the fact more than two-thirds of all black births are illegitimate. Such tawdry journalism must be silenced! (Be certain some liberal will attempt to ensure that punishment is levied.)

It is impolitic to print facts that show the voluntary behavior of a large percentage of a group previously identified as “oppressed by the system” is causing their own problems. After all, if it is voluntary behavior that is causing the problem(s), then perpetrators are much more difficult to identify as “victims.” However, rest assured that the “spin meisters” will step up to the challenge.

I didn't read where she admitted to a college fling. That said, there are many people that contracted HIV through transfusions or what they *thought* to be a committed relationship, not knowing their partner had HIV.
