Wonders had a discussion with a Croatian soldier who used to be on here (Tropoljac), and they were talking about how the Bosnian Muslims killed and gathered the sheep of the Serb population and made huge pyramid-shaped piles of them. >>
Wow. You quoting Wonders quoting Trpoljac quoting someone who said somehthing about how the Bosnian Muslims did something.
Get someone who saw stuff with their own eyes to post if you want to counter me. I'm telling you what I saw and what I know. If you took the trouble to dump in my garden what you're dumping on Free Republic, my roses would be much nicer this spring.

And where, pray tell, is your proof that such things did happen and where are the bodies? Who did the counting? As for the bombing of Belgrade, my friend said that the buildings were of all kinds you see in a city center, including residential buildings. There were no military targets in sight, but a whole lot of burned out buildings. Have you been there and can tell me they were all military targets?

Sure at times he has spoken poorly about the Kosovo operation, but I can't ever recall him saying that we had choosen the wrong side. >> If Rush said that, then he's an ignoramus...
Hate to have to break the news to you this way, Ronly bonly, but we faught the Kosovo campaign on the wrong side, and the only ignoramus in the picture is YOU.

Hi Joan,
Oh, I'd almost forgot about old Trop. I miss him! Anyone know whatever happened to him? I know he got banned, but surely he reincarnated himself? Speaking of V Corp's dead sheep piles, I didn't know the number 70 (of dead sheep) had a special meaning to the Bosnian Muslims until Trop explained it to me. I still got the message of the dead sheep, though!
Actually, V Corps didn't block the roads. They were already totally clogged with the Krajina "refugees" (who were technically still IDPs at that point). The southbound "refugee" column was cut by HV near Dvor na Uni just north of where the road crosses into BiH over the bridge. HV (Croat forces) attacked from the east (and also from the air) and V Corps (ABiH) from the west out of Bihac. The "refugees" were caught in between. Soup sandwich. The villages west of the road were ravaged by V Corps. Those are the ones Trop and I were talking about.
As I said before, I expected the areas where V Corps operated to be pretty bad because I knew V Corps would come boiling out of Bihac out for blood after the way the Krajina Serbs had been pounding them in the days leading up to Op Storm. But the carnage surpassed my expectations.(That seemingly inexplicable pounding the Serbs were giving them was, apparently, part of the Krajina sell-out deal. Ah, the Balkans!)

Idiots repeating each other doesn't make a lie true.
I was there. You were back here watching TV.

See earlier post about ICMP operation at the Tuzla morgue and the cemetery at Srebrenica where 1100 identified bodies of Srebrenica dead have been laid to rest at last.
Who did the counting? >>
International Committee for Missing Persons in the Former Yugoslavia, mostly run by the British.
As for the bombing of Belgrade, my friend said that the buildings were of all kinds you see in a city center, including residential buildings. There were no military targets in sight, but a whole lot of burned out buildings. Have you been there and can tell me they were all military targets?>>
No I haven't been to Belgrade. But I sure saw a lot of burned out buildings in Bosnia.
A Serb once instructed me on the proper methodology for destroying a Bosnian Muslim home. First, you close all the windows. Second, you light a candle on the highest floor of the house. Third, you blow out the pilot light of the family stove and open all the gas outlets. Fourth, you quickly leave the building, and wait five to twenty minutes. KABOOM. Instant Bosnian fixer-upper. And you don't even have to use any plastique or fuel. Cheap, effective, and the balije never come back.
Until the US Army shows up and puts an end to that BS.

In war, people often are done unto as they do unto others. Ask the citizens of Dresden. Beograd got off lightly.
To: getoffmylawn
Told ya you were wasting your time with that clown. :-DAnd you were right, as usual. I already knew it. For RBJ, the whole war boiled down to Srebrenica. Anything anytime, anywhere else just doesn't exist.
When you come across a sick mind, leave it alone. ;-)
Again, you're right. I'd been doing that for a long time. Should have kept it up. If Mr./Ms. Jones went so far round the bend after being in Tuzla so long AFTER the war, wonder what he/she would be like if he/she had been in my shoes?
Note he/she never answered my question in #168. I guess "1% of the population massacred and deported in three days" is genocide to him/her when the victims are Muslims, but 99.9% in four days is okay to him/her when the victims are Serbs. Or perhaps he/she doesn't even know what/where Krajina is.
Anyway, I guess RBJ is one proof that US military are great at breaking things, but not good as peacekeepers, as the good Canadian gentleman said in that article I linked on the other thread. His "one corporal and a flag" idea is sounding pretty good to me right now!
Do you think he could possibly be that Ustashe former freeper named Supercooldude? The I.Q.s seem to match and they both drone on with that "serbonazi" crap.
LOL! I hadn't thought of that one. Hmm. Better check him/her for sahovnica tatoos!

They weren't deported. They left, because after they had deported their Croat neighbors, they knew that the Croat neighbors were coming back and were NOT amused.
PS. There was no mass murder associated with Storm, no matter how you pretend otherwise.
PSS. The reason I keep bringing up Srebrenica is to rub your noses in what the war really was about. Genocided ended up happening in Srebrenica, but it started on the floor of the Bosnian Parliament, when your tin god Karadzic promised to exterminate the Bosnian Muslims. It wasn't an accident. It was the pinnacle of Serb achievement in the war.

Now RBJ is claiming to have been in Kosovo! See post #225.

Translation into English: the US Army has an unpleasant (to the Serbs) habit of snagging them and sending them to justicein the Hague. Don't like it? Renounce your citizenship and go back home.
As for the Canadians, when we want their opinion on how to run things in a peacekeeping environment, we give it to them.
To: wonders
I make no such claim. I was exclusively in eastern Bosnia and the Podrinje valley.
To: Ronly Bonly Jones
They weren't deported. They left, because after they had deported their Croat neighbors, they knew that the Croat neighbors were coming back and were NOT amused. That wasn't actually the case (to quote you, I was there and you weren't.) But nevermind. Using your logic, you could say the Muslims of Srebrenica were not deported, they left because they had attacked and slaughtered Serb villagers and the Serbs were coming back and they were NOT amused. Can we say "double standard"?
PS: You keep bringing up Srebrenica because that's all you know. And I don't need my nose rubbed in anything, thank you. The Balkan wars were not mine. Nor is Karadzic a god of mine, tin or otherwise. I am an American whose ancestors came over from England in the 1600s. No Balkan ties or roots.

Satisfied?
Yes I am satisfied. And surprised. I'm still confused about your positions about KosovO. Almost every point you bring up is about Bosnian history and not KosovO. The leftovers from the 7th Bosnian Muslim Brigade and other radical Muslim separatist tied to Osama drove the terrorism that led to a Serb crackdown. I just don't understand your perspective at all (totally anti-Serb).
To: Ronly Bonly Jones
The arrogance of your reply proves my point. Arrogance, wanting to "rub noses" constantly branding a whole people as "nazis" etc. Those are not the traits of a peacemaker or peacekeeper. The very things you say you detest about the Serbs...

The one thing you could absolutely count on with Slick Clinton was that whenever, anywhere in the world, the interests of ordinary decent working people came into conflict with the interests of trash, you could count on Slick to come down four-square on the side of the trash, just like the sun coming up in the morning. For anybody who hasn't figured it out yet, Serbs are ordinary normal decent working people and Albanians, particularly Albanian Kosovars, are trash. The whole thing in Kosovo was that simple.

Soros money.

And you are engaging in *precisely,* PRECISELY, the polemic that characterizes a Freeper Serbocrazy, if not a Serbonazi proper.
"Wanting to rub noses." It is not the Serb people's nose I want to rub, Wonder, it is your very own. And Joan's. And Destro's. And DamageInc's. And getoffmylawn's. And everyone who supports Serbia unreservedly on FR yet who has refused to look Srebrenica straight in the eye and see it for what it was, a major war crime, an act of genocide that opens the door to a new century of mass industrial killing of people for their demographic characteristics.
After WW2, the world looked at Auschwitz and said, "Never again." Serbia came along in 1992 and went on the path of mass evil, and the world said, "just kidding."
And YOU guys all say, "Good." And your reaction to one who speaks the truth about what happened? "You're a Muslim terrorist!"
I do not ascribe (and never have ascribed) Nazism to the whole of the Serbian people. (To say that I have is also Nazi propaganda: the German who burns down a Jew's house and then says to the one who protests: "I will not sit here and hear you criticize all Germans!")
I absolutely ascribe it to two groups alone: those who actively took part in crimes of mass murder in Bosnia, and those who supported what happened. (By the same logic that says that all members of a lynch mob bear direct moral responsibility for the act of the actual lynchers.)
Those are not the traits of a peacemaker or peacekeeper.>>>
I am not a peace keeper any more. I do not have to keep my mouth shut in the face of war criminals, as I sometimes had to while in Bosnia, and I do not have to keep silent in the face of Nazi propaganda here on Free Republic. My role today is not peace keeper, but truth teller.
Srebrenica happened, and was THE CENTRAL event of the war. And those who truly love Serbia know this, and understand that it lost Serbia the war, far more than losing a Yugo factory or two to the US Air Force.
To: greenwolf

Even those you call "trash" have a right to be free of genocide, particularly from neighbors who think that they are trash.
Trash commit genocide.
To: Andy from Beaverton

Not at all. The vast majority of Serbs are decent folk. Thank God. I'm simply anti-Nazi. It's just that a lot of people in the former Yugoslavia put on the four-C swastika and lost their hearts.... and so many here on FR as well.
