Also - there's a cool little German beer house (12 German beers on tap) on Ave C & 7th St., Zum Schnieder, that opens up all the doors and windows when it's nice out. I think you send you were coming in May, just a thought. I go to d.b.a. to take advantage of the outdoor garden seating in the back.
