Latest update. With a full page ad in tomorrow's USA Today, word will be getting out about this!
To: TonyInOhio
I can't believe we have to actually call a Catholic school to pressure them into NOT allowing this. Good Lord, we are in the handbasket.
To: Knock3Times
Already Cardinal Newman Societys campaign against the play has had an impact. Productions have been canceled at 16 Catholic colleges and universities this year, several prompted by letters, phone calls and e-mails urging administrators to ban The Vagina Monologues. Outstanding.
To: Knock3Times
You know, Ernest Thompson, the guy who wrote "On Golden Pond", wrote a series of monologues to comprise the male counterpart to "The Vagina Monologues, and actually performed them for a while with another person off-Broadway. What with all the ED drugs coming out, maybe it's time for Thompson to get one of the companies to sponsor a revival. Just think of the ads..."'The Penis Responds'...Brought to you by...Levitra."

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
THE definitive thread about the revolting "Vagina Monologues" and its run at Catholic Universities and Colleges. Much info, and how to contact all the Catholic institutions of higher learning to voice your opinion.
(If anyone wants on or off this ping list, pingify me!)
Here's a good quote:
****At least one bishop has criticized the performances. Bishop John DArcy of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana, wrote in a public statement published in the diocesan newspaper: The Vagina Monologues is offensive to women; it is antithetical to Catholic teaching on the beautiful gift of human sexuality and also to the teachings of the Church on the human body relative to its purpose and to its status as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
The consistency which one looks for, and so often finds at [the University of] Notre Dame, is sorely missing in the decision to present this play.****

There is no such thing as a Catholic College anymore
They are spineless jokes
Hell I quit donating to my Alma Mater back in the late 60s when they threw the ROTC off campus because the lefties on campus objected
I sent them a letter and told them my reasons
To this day I have not sent them a dime

"The list of planned performances announced by V-Day, the national group that has licensed campus productions at more than 500 schools this year, includes prominent institutions like Boston College, DePaul, Georgetown, Holy Cross (Massachusetts), Loyola (Baltimore), Loyola (Chicago), and Notre Dame (Indiana). The ad calls on readers to contact the presidents of these colleges and protest the play. "

O'Reilly discussed a performance of this play at Amherst H.S. (MA). Many mothers were interviewed with their daughters after seeing this R rated play. It was appalling...one mother ad no problem with the lesbian seduction scene.
