[Paradox]

A few days ago I posted something suggesting that people should not be too ready to get real excited about this story, because it could easily be a setup intended to make Republicans look bad. Quite a few others and I also had this opinion. Perhaps it was a setup to make the right-wing media look bad, thus innoculating Kerry against future charges of infidelity, no matter how true.

I'm of that belief myself - a Dem setup that Drudge fell for. We are better off staying away from it, unless and until Drudge comes up with a smoking gun. It's his reputation that took a hit, so it's his job to produce the goods - which he has failed miserably in doing thus far. Score one for the Kerry camp.
