What an awesome sight, Airforce One at Daytona

When I lived in North Carolina, my home was very near where Richard Petty was - The King ruled!

He and his family were much loved by the small community where he resided.
His 'castle' was a beautiful log house, and he remained there even after amassing his fortune.
He did many things to benefit his neighbors in Level Cross.

At one point, he toyed with the idea of running for Governor of the state, and probably could have won, even with the liberal masses in the Eastern areas of the state.

Okay - admission: I am not a racing car fan..:(
