I'm sure if they had known it was so "easy", they would have tried.

Don't be misled. It wasn't easy. The Arabs could never have done it (ask the Iranis). It was easy for a superbly trained and equipped military, with leaders close to genius (Franks, Rumsfeld and Bush).
And if we don't keep a team like that, the next engagement is surely not going to be easy.

I'm not. That's why I put the word easy in quotation marks. War is never "easy", especially for the ones who are injured or killed. (Heck, I've never even had an easy fistfight!!!) Remember, our liberal friends were predicting thousands of body bags and a many year long Vietnam type "quagmire". Our military leaders know how to fight a war and our current President knows how to stay the he!! out of the way and let the military do what they know best.
