[history]
President Bush made his way to Daytona International Speeway today, where he was honored with starting the race. Air Force One touched down on a near-by airstrip after doing a fly-by for the thousands of NASCAR fans in attendance. The President's motorcade then made a trip around the oval before heading to Pit Row, where the President greeted many of the drivers. Bush also took time to greet some fans in the stands. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you, so it looks like the CINC is pretty popular out there, doesn't it. That's good, millions of people were watching that, but I'm sure the RATS will find something negative to say about.

Watching Fox news, Geraldo live in Iraq with policemen &
Firemen from NY with the NY National Guard. Gee, didn't
know the National Guard was so active /sarcasm off.
Take care Mike, your service is appreciated.

Our young soldier, Brad, was in church today....Sure was good to see him.....Told him we'd caught another card, he couldn't wait to get home and get on line to see who caught him.....)He'd been stationed in "the triangle" for most of his year.
He'll be home until the end of the month, then taking more course work here in the states. Told me he expected to be sent back to Iraq in 6 months to a year and was looking forward to finishing the job.....

***How was the President received by the crowd?***
My sister and her husb were there--I'll be anxious to hear from them. They didn't answer their cell phone--I wonder if with the increased security they were not allowed to take them in.
It looked like he was well-received, and there were smiles all around as he greeted the drivers and their crews.

I actually posted the article but then Servo posted to me that it had already been posted. I didn't check if the article had already been posted since it was from our lokal news paper and I am the only freeper who is from Clarksville, TN and I got up late this morning. I was tossing and turning practically all night
