IMO, we became #2 in Viet Nam for the exact same reason the numb-skull liberals want us to be #2 again -- because we did not mount an aggressive, single-minded campaign to destroy the enemy ASAP, and because some liberals think it was okay to let the servicemen in Viet Nam as well as the civilians of 9-11 take the hits.
Thank God President Bush is not Johnson, Nixon nor McNamara.
Thank God he knows the threat is real and how to end a real threat -- by aggressive, single-minded force against the evil-doers who will not bring us to our knees in second place.
We won't be fooled again. Bush and Rumsfeld know how to win.
