they're good. i'm irritated only by the fact that as it was playing i knew that i will sometime be minding my own business, hurting no one, and have that song pop into my head, after which it will take up residence. (as happened, believe it or not, with the moon song, which i saw the first time when jonah goldberg passed along the link weeks ago. jury is still out on "all your base," but i imagine it will go into the mix, too.) now, if there were a link to lyle lovett's "if i had a boat," i'd not have a brain cell to call my own.

The Trachtenburg family Slideshow Players collect slides at garage sales and write songs about other family's collections. Neither the collections nor the songs make any sense, but together they are fun.

they arevery low tech. they tour with a slide projector and their instruments. I have to assume their child is home-schooled.
