Why would sanctions work in Iran if they didn't work in Iraq? Or is GW Bush saying sanctions did work in Iraq? I don't get where he's coming from.I think President Bush's administration is starting up the groundwork with the goal of eliminating unconventional weapons from the hands of unstable governments. This is like giving notice to Syria and Iran that we know what they are doing. Who knows, maybe in ten years or so we are gonna have to invade and occupy those countries too.
On the other hand, I am greatly encouraged by Libya's admission of possession of WMD and the voluntary removal of them recently...

Something will happen way before that. They will have a change in government in Iran way before that. Think more like within a year.
