I am betting the statement that it was a 50 Cal. was made by some media snipe that would not know a .50 from a air rifle. I hope they catch this nut soon.
I just am offended when the media "experts" start quoting gun facts from unknown sources.
The scary part is that a lot of "professional law enforcement" individuals, do not have a clue either.

I just thought it was odd that she would make that kind of statement on TV if she didn't have the information. LEO's are releasing very little information to the public.
