I saw the whole thing. And to make matter worse, both of Andre's nipples were showing! (Though I couldn't tell if anyone had a nipple shield.) Ya gotta feel sorry for those CBS execs. They can't seem to do anything right these days. It's a neverending nightmare of nipples and feathers.

Bee was particularly angered that the dancers who accompanied Andre wore feathers, a sacred symbol for American Indians. they should boycot animal planet, too, then, I'm always seeing feathers on there.

Let's just hope that the Village People never get nominated for a Grammy - they may have to make their "native American" character stay home!

The scary thing is that one day, Village People will get a "Lifetime Achievement" award. Sure, it'll be during a slow year, but it will happen.

Bad Reagan movie full of lies and hate speech...knowing they approved a sex filled and in your face Super Bowl halftime show...and now more apologies for the Grammy's.
Wake up people. This is the new publicity machine. Present the "horrible behavior" everyone complains about and then "apologize" to get more press and viewers to see "what they will show up and apologize for next"!
What a crock.
Folks, just stop watching them and stop talking about them. Then write, e-mail or call every sponser they have and tell them you are going to stop spending money with them.

with all due respect to freepers, if Outkast wore a t-shirt that said "Kerry in 2004" we would have been offended and boycotted him and CBS. i think it is ok for native americans to be a bit tussled by this.

"'I told my wife who was sitting beside me, `Somebody is going to be (angry) about this,"' he said."
This should be the new tagline for the PC movement: If one person has hurt feelings that's one too many--be PC!

I remember thinking at the time that someone would be getting their knickers... um... loincloth on a bunch over the performance. I wonder if the CBS execs were worried about being labled "anti-Black" if they had voiced any objection to OutKast's idea for their staging.

I suppose if I was a Native-American who detested public displays of nudity, hated left-wing bias in news reporting and thought Ronald Reagan was the best president of the 20th Century, SeeBS would certainly be on my sh!tlist by now.

When is CBS going to apologize for Dan Rather? I don't know, but I hope when they do, it's not for an exposed Danboobie.

You know, that picture just rams it home doesn't it?
The Lone Ranger could probably not be made today.
