Asked about the report....Kerry told reporters: "I just deny it categorically. It's rumor. It's untrue. Period."
On Imus this AM he said there was nothing to talk about.
I thought that was a pretty shrewd stance to take, a definite waffle, sure, but one he could always retract with some vestige of honor.
But now he is on the record, he did not have sex with intern Alex.
He probably thought he had no alternative, the sharks were circling and he had to say yea or nae.
And he committed himself.
At least one of his advisors must be drinking heavily at the moment.
He has to hope that ex-intern Alex has found a safe house.
Or, if found, she will not cave.
Kerry's hope is that she will explain the trip to Kenya as a visit to her finace's mom.
And my guess is she probably will.
My opinion is this story will have no legs unless Mrs. Kerry has become tired of her husband's desire for 57 varieties and decides to go public and pull in the purse strings.

I love it. If Bush answered Kerry's ridiculous accusations about his Guard service with, "I just deny it categorically. It's rumor. It's untrue. Period.", Kerry and the scum from hell Democrats would accuse Bush of doging the question, etc.
The hyprosicy, as usual, stinks!
