"yes I will go far. one day I will be your leader."
Off Topic.
Look, I welcomed you here, I complimented you on your thick skin.
Then you arrogantly inform me you will be MY leader?
Let me give you a lesson on leading, there are those who do not follow. youve just met one.
And hospitality should be rewarded with the same.
Later.

You done good, real good. This thread will probably go over 2000.

What did he say, "Hi, I'm so-and-so, and I'm an alcoholic"? We've heard it all before!

Well, some of us would complain just to hear ourselves complain.

Thanks for the tips weegee, good to see you again.
Every time I plan to start a topic, a search proves someone already has on that particular story, which is good enough for me. Ill just find it and post on someones topic.
On topic, I can appreciate this pilot trying to share his faith. But he should not use his jobs assets to do it.

Here in Houston some people complain that station manager/talk show host Dan Patrick talks about God too much on his show. Even he questioned whether that was the proper forum for this discussion.
Dan had a passenger from that flight call in; this passenger believed in God but followed no formal religion. The passenger did not feel worried or threatened but he said from his perspective he didn't see many hands (people kept them relatively low). He also said that the pilot did preface his remarks by saying that he had just gotten back from a religious retreat. He apologized to the stewardesses over the PA as well as the passengers and offered to let them talk with him after the flight if they wished.

"Let me assure you that we take this very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation," Arpey wrote to
Abraham Foxman, director of the Anti-Defamation League, a group that monitors anti-Semitism. The airline "promotes an environment of respect for the diversity of all persons, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, disability, gender, age or sexual orientation."
Foxman had complained about the incident.
Oh, shut up, Foxman...

What really irritates me about flying these days is those infernal carry-ons that people insist upon toting on-board with them. What is it with that? Why can't they just check their luggage like normal folk? As long as they don't have the slightest weapon to defend themselves from hijackers, they can get just about anything on board, eh?
