Actually, there is one level where you find similarities between the struggle to overturn anti miscegenation laws, and same sex marriages.
In both cases, the majority of Americans opposed the idea.

I know you can draw a conclusion that both were opposed by society..there it stops,as far as I am concerned.Marriage is beween a man and a woman.

I think the biggest difference is how the two are handled in the Bible. You can't find anything in the Bible that implies it matters to marry outside your ethnic group, it's not called an abomination.
